Latest news: Wigging workshop at AllBJDS Con 2011!
Make a custom-fitted Rococo wig for your favorite BJD!
Participants will bring the head only of their selected doll. We'll wrap it to protect it, then use stretch fabric, mohair roving, hairspray and FabriTac glue to create a confection of a wig. You'll learn how to make rolls, spiral curls and padded forms to shape and style the wig.
Materials provided will include: stretch fabric, mohair roving, glue, chenille stems and twill tape.
The handout will cover everything in the workshop, plus how to make a more fitted muslin hard cap, how to pre-prepare glue wefts and alternative methods for setting mohair curls.

Welcome.
My name is Ann Marie Ivins.
My first degree was in costume design; now I find sewing for dolls, especially BJDs, much more relaxing than sewing for people! My love is historical fashion and research, trying to fully understand the aesthetic of a period in order to design garments that a real person would want to wear. I drape and draft all the patterns myself.
Every ensemble is OOAK; hats and accessories such as jewelry, bags and shoes generally are a part of the package. Some of my favorite commissions have been fantasy designs.
Please look through the Inspirations page; anything you see, you can have. Let's create a dream.
